Another actor turned Presidential would-be

Ok, there is plenty room, join the race. Frankly, I never watched him act. His name is Thompson I believe? Why not, most of the contenders are actors in their own rights. Acting, empty promises, same old pre-election scenarios.

When the noise and dust clears, it is the one who remains standing that will merit your vote, your expression of confidence. We all know who that will be.

There are those who believe money can buy an election, that exposure sells the candidate. Oprah is throwing a gala for her favorite candidate, Obama. Expects to raise millions.

WE HAVE MADE IT CLEAR FROM THE OUTSET- WE DO NOT SOLICIT, WE DO NOT ACCEPT CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTIONS. We will be victorious without all this hullabaloo. The little bit of advertising we plan on doing in such media as PLAYBOY and other similar publications will be financed by volunteers selling M & M's on street corners, Philly soft pretzels at traffic lights and neighborhood volunteer car washes. The DRP (Deficit Reduction Party is on the move!!! No acting, no loose promises, just straight talk. When in office my staff and I will "cash in", that will be our reward.

One final note: One of the very important members of my cabinet was just operated on (Hip surgery) and we wish to take this opportunity to wish Frank (Paco) Quigley a speedy recovery.

In lieu of flowers, etc. Paco has asked me to let all his many fans know he would like cash sent to me instead. (Would like to buy a Maseratti)

That is it for today. Sit back, let them all play out their little acts, make their empty promises and when we move in to the White House, watch them all come hoping we appoint them to some office

aL HOFFMAN
Your next President
